We’ve put together this privacy policy to set out our policies regarding how ‘Personally Identifiable Information’ (PII) is being used online and as part of the services we provide. PII, as described in US privacy law and information security, is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context. Please see our policy below to better understand how we collect, protect, use, or otherwise handle your PII when you use our website.
What PII Do We Collect?
When you fill out a contact form, or application, with us, you may be asked for your name, email and/or mailing address, phone number or other details about yourself and your business, which info may include social security numbers, tax id numbers, credit history and financial data.
When We Collect PII
The PII is usually collected from you when you fill out a contact form on our site, or otherwise submit an application to us for services, whether via our website or otherwise. We may also collect such PII from you if/when you provide it to us in some other context.
How We Use PII
Your PII may be used by us in the following contexts:
- To ensure that the services we provide to you are tailored to your specific needs.
- To improve our products and services, including web and other platforms.
How Your PII Is Protected
We are on watch for breaches of our websites, online services, and platforms. Malware Scanning is not used.
Your PII is secured and access is locked via secure online data portals, as well as password protected equipment. Such PII is only accessible by our staff working the customer files, and such other staff who need access to such information for the provisions of the services contemplated hereunder. Our personnel are required to keep such PII confidential.
Disclosure to Third-Parties
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your PII unless we provide users with advance notice. The above does not relate to website hosting services, website designers, our affiliates and contractors who help us conduct the day-to-day operations of our business and serving our customers, which parties have agreed to maintain confidentiality. We may also share or transmit such PII when required by law, our policies, or to protect the property and safety of others.
California Online Privacy Protection Act
CalOPPA is a state law which requires commercial websites and online services to have a posted Privacy Policy on their websites/webpages. Such law requires that any person or company in the United States that operates websites collecting PII from consumers who reside in California, must conspicuously post a privacy policy stating the information collected and how it may be shared. Such laws can be accessed via the following link: http://consumercal.org/california-online-privacy-protection-act-caloppa/#sthash.0FdRbT51.dpuf
Fair Information Practices
The Fair Information Practices Principles are an integral part of privacy law policies in the United States.
As part of our compliance with such principles, we endeavor to notify users via email, within 7 days, when we become aware of a breach. We also endeavor to abide by all relevant applicable regulations.
CAN SPAM Act
In accordance with the CAN SPAM Act, if you wish to stop receiving messages from us at any time, please contact us as per the contact information below. We will endeavor to have all correspondences and communications which are sent to you to cease as soon as commercially reasonable.
Children Online Privacy Protection Act
The Federal Trade Commission, a consumer protection agency of the United States government, enforces the Children Online Privacy Protection Act (the COPPA Rule), which governs what operators of websites and online services must do to protect the privacy and safety online of children under the age of 13.
In no way do we target marketing to children under the age of 13.
Google’s advertising policies are contained in Google’s Advertising Principles, which can be found here: https://support.google.com/adwordspolicy/answer/1316548. Google AdSense is not currently in use on our site, but may be so incorporated in our website in the future.
